About Si Teng
I’m currently taking a gap year before university and hope to spend this time doing something meaningful by helping younger students. I graduated top of my cohort for my final-year project in Retail Merchandising, and have always been passionate about creativity, writing and communication. I achieved an A* in English at primary school and A2s in English and Literature in secondary school.
More importantly, I’ve always enjoyed teaching and supporting younger students. From 2023–2024, I volunteered with KidsCount, teaching Mathematics to children with disabilities. I found the experience incredibly rewarding and hope to bring the same patience and encouragement to my lessons.

Hi, I’m Si Teng! I’m a patient and encouraging tutor who believes that every child learns differently.
I have experience teaching primary school students who may need a little more time and support, including children with mild learning difficulties.
I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges, and I tailor my lessons and teaching pace accordingly. My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to build their confidence and make learning feel less stressful.
Whether your child needs help with schoolwork, strengthening their foundations, or simply some extra guidance, I’m happy to create lessons that work for them!
