About Mahoghany
I am a student a Bowie State University. I have tutored children specifically in the English field but I am one with many talents. I was born and raised in New York City. I am a current English major at Bowie with hopes to teach one day.

My teaching method is RLL, short for read, listen, and learn. In other words, I allow the child to read independently to themselves or aloud to me. After, we will evaluate the reading or lesson; the child will give their interpretation of the reading or lesson and I’ll listen, then I will give my instructions and they’ll listen. Lastly, we’ll learn; the child will be asked to do homework or an exit ticket as an evaluation of what they were taught.
