My goal as a tutor is to make Biology simple, interesting, and easy to understand for high school students. I avoid relying only on memorization and instead explain concepts step-by-step using simple language, real-life examples, diagrams, and analogies. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student's learning pace and the topics they find difficult.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous topics or a quick assessment of what the student already understands. I then introduce the new topic and explain it step-by-step, followed by examples and visual aids. We work through practice questions together to check understanding, and I encourage students to explain the concept back to me in their own words. We finish with a short review of the important points and what the student should practice.
What sets me apart is my background as a 5th-year Biology student majoring in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. I have extensive experience studying Biology and understand how challenging some concepts can be. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely without feeling embarrassed about what they don't know.
My lessons are mainly for high school students who need help with Biology, General Science, exam preparation, homework, or specific topics they find difficult. Whether you're struggling with cells, genetics, human biology, ecology, or other Biology topics, I can help break them down into simpler and more manageable concepts.
