About Anastasia
I am a friendly and enthusiastic violin teacher based in Lewisham Town Centre.
I am experienced in teaching adults and children of all ages and abilities. I feel strongly about music education for young people, and believe everyone should have the opportunity to play an instrument.
Through music tuition, many life lessons and transferrable skills are gained. I incorporate aspects of theory and general musicianship into lessons, to ensure that my pupils have a greater all round understanding of what they are doing. I take an active interest in the overall wellbeing and education of all my students, while still having high standards and expectations, and encouraging my pupils to develop a strong work ethic. I am used to preparing students for examinations with boards such as ABRSM and Trinity, as well as assisting with auditions or musicianship tests. In addition, I have delivered masterclass-style workshops in secondary schools.
Lessons are available both online and face-to-face, and can be 30/45/60 mins depending on the needs of the student.
