About Tess
I am friendly, patient and creative in my approach to teaching and look forward to helping students achieve their best. Although I am new to the professional tutoring world, I am excited to get started and successfully help students to fulfil their potential and improve their confidence. As a student myself, I am enthusiastic about learning and I understand that there are often limitations of teaching in the classroom so will strive to provide students with any extra individual support they may need.

I am currently working at Cardiff University on an industrial placement year as part of a BSc (Hons) Biology degree at the University of Manchester, a top Russell Group university. Throughout school and sixth form I participated in mentoring programmes, providing academic guidance to my peers for science and mathematics at both GCSE and A Level, with these students making considerable progress.
