About Brooke-leigh
Hi! I'm a third-year Law student with a genuine passion for English Literature and helping students reach their full potential.
I achieved qualifications in both GCSE and A Level English Literature, and my love for literature has stayed with me throughout my academic journey. I enjoy reading a wide range of texts and believe that understanding literature is about more than passing exams. It's about developing confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to express ideas clearly.
Alongside my studies, I am preparing to begin a PGCE in Secondary English next year, as my goal is to become a secondary school English teacher. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for literature while helping students build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a friendly, supportive, and encouraging environment where lessons are tailored to individual needs. I create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building their confidence. Together, we'll break down complex themes, characters, language, and literary techniques into clear, manageable steps, helping you write insightful, well-structured exam responses.
