I am a recent graduate from the University of Plymouth with a 2:1 degree in Optometry and can teach Science KS2, KS3 and GCSE. I have been told that my approach to teaching makes it enjoyable for my students, as I am patient and very approachable.

My method of teaching includes basing my lessons on the needs of each individual, rather than only looking at the subject. It is important to base all revision on exactly what is written on the specification/curriculum for each exam.
Each lesson will focus on a particular topic, exploring the strengths and weaknesses in each topic and focussing on the parts the student finds most challenging. I think it is important to practise exam-style questions as often as possible, so we will aim to finish each session with a past paper question, and go through the answers together to ensure the student understands the content of the lesson. I am aware of the Edexcel and AQA exam boards for Science.
