About Aleksei
Hi/Привет! My name is Alex :) I was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and I’ve always had a love for languages. I speak English at a C1 level and Ukrainian too, so I really understand what it’s like to learn a new language — all the fun parts and the tricky ones! I’ve been teaching Russian for over two years now, and I’ve worked with students from all kinds of backgrounds and levels. Right now, I live and study in Kuala Lumpur, which has given me the chance to connect with learners from all over the world. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy. I keep things relaxed and supportive, and I do my best to make sure you feel comfortable, understood, and motivated during our lessons!

My lessons are fun, flexible, and focused on helping you speak Russian with confidence. I don’t believe in boring drills — instead, I use memes, movies, and real conversations to make the language come alive.
We’ll focus on practical vocabulary, everyday phrases, and pronunciation, all tailored to your level and goals. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency, I’ll adjust the pace and style to suit you.
I create a friendly, supportive space where you’re free to make mistakes, ask questions, and actually enjoy the process. My goal is to help you break the language barrier and start speaking Russian like a real human — not a textbook!
