As a recent high school graduate who consistently scores above 90% in math, I understand what it’s like to find math confusing or even boring at first. Over time, I discovered different strategies that made math simpler and more enjoyable for me, and I want to share those with my students.
My approach as a tutor is all about adapting to each student’s needs. I use a mix of explanations, practice problems, and real-life examples to help make concepts clear and relatable. I believe in breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and encouraging students to ask questions, no matter how small.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by working through new topics together. I then guide students through practice problems, offering tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way. We finish by summarizing key points and making sure you feel confident before moving on.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I’ve been in your shoes not long ago—I know what it’s like to struggle with math and how to overcome those challenges. I focus on making lessons engaging and build an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My lessons are designed for students in grades 7 to 11 who need extra help or want to improve their math skills, whether it’s for homework, tests, or just building confidence in the subject.
