I use special online files such as videos and ppts that can be edited in real-time, so me and my students can work on them together. After our session, the students can save and keep these files. I give feedback to the students at the end of each session to let them know how they are doing and what they can improve. We can focus on these areas in our next session.
If students have an important question or need help before a test, they can reach out to me even outside of our regular lesson time, like the day before the test.
