About Jamaica
I’m a 25-year-old native English speaker from Australia who has grown up using English in everyday life, both casually and in professional settings. I’ve always enjoyed communication and helping people feel more comfortable expressing themselves, especially when learning something new.
I want to teach English because I know how much confidence plays a role in language learning. It’s not just about grammar or vocabulary, but about feeling comfortable enough to speak without overthinking or fear of making mistakes. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where students can practice real conversation, improve their fluency, and actually feel progress over time.
I also believe there’s a lot to learn from other people when teaching. Every student brings their own experiences, perspective, and way of learning, and I find that really valuable. Teaching is not just about giving knowledge, but also growing through the process alongside others.
