About Magda
I'm Magda - a yoga, diving and language enthusiast. I hold a Master’s Degree in TEFL and for over 10 years, I have been teaching teenagers and adults of various nationalities and levels. I have also worked as an Academic Manager and Teacher Trainer, supporting other professionals and designing language courses in a vibrant, multinational school in Kent, UK. I am an open-minded and positive teacher, who's always striving to improve their skillset. My main teaching goal is to restore my students' confidence in their own language skills. The lessons I offer are personalised and always focused on students' needs. In every class, we will pay attention to pronunciation and grammar, to improve accuracy and confidence. My classes follow the communicative approach that maximises time spent speaking in English. A good relationship with my students is something I take pride in. Feeling relaxed and comfortable during lessons is key to successful learning. I aim to make the atmosphere in my classes happy and relaxing, and I am always on the lookout for inspirational, up-to-date materials.

The lessons I offer are personalised and always tailored to my students' needs. This means your goals and interests will drive our classes, helping you achieve the desired results. My lessons follow the communicative approach method, maximising the time spent using and speaking in English. I use inspirational, CLIL materials to stimulate conversation and make lessons interesting. CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning, which creates opportunities to learn about other subjects through the means of English. My lessons' topics have a global focus and are built around current affairs, films, podcasts, articles, etc. This means that apart from English, we will always learn something new and inspire each other. I have plenty of experience teaching exam classes. During my career, I have helped students prepare for IELTS, CAE, FCE and other exams by teaching them time saving strategies and mastering skills required to attain the best results. For students who are starting learning English or looking for long-term, regular classes, I offer more structured, textbook-based courses that maintain continuity, follow set routines and track progress on a regular basis. Regardless of the lesson type, I will always pay attention to your pronunciation and grammar, which will in turn, improve your accuracy and boost confidence.
