About Saowalak
Hi, I am Saowalak, a biology tutor, graduated PhD in Molecular biology from University College London, UK. I began tutoring as a demonstrator in my first year of postgraduate and continued during all four years of PhD course. My academic background, I am a Thai scholar, who received BSc in Biology from the University of York and an A-level from Rochester Independent College.
I am currently tutoring as my part-time job. I love helping students to gain confidence in biology. All my students feel comfortable asking questions and showing their understanding of the content. Over the years, I experienced teaching IGCSE, and A-level Biology on several exam boards like CIE and Edexcel. I also have experience in demonstrating labs and tutorials at the university level, which lead my students to the rewarding "Eureka" moment of understanding the material. I am passionate about biology and use it to inspire and encourage my students!
When not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with DIY projects, Thai cooking, baking and badminton. I also have an interest in teaching IELTS for foreigners to those in need.

Friendly, Flexible, and Skilled Biology Tutor
My teaching style is first to understand my student's weakness and their needs then thoroughly find the best way to support and level up into their strengths. Learning process is different for each student so I always find new teaching methods to suit best each of my students either using pictures, drawings, flashcards or ppt slides.

I know Saowalak during our doctoral studies. She did biochemistry for her BSc and are fully trained in molecular biology during her PhD. She is totally capable of tutoring biology.
