About Beatrice
Hi! I’m a current MSc/MA student at the University of Birmingham, a Russell Group and red brick university. In my A levels, I achieved Biology: A, Chemistry: A and French: A as a Harrison scholarship student at Merchant Taylors' Girls' School. I have extensive experience presenting educational assemblies as a higher education and STEM ambassador, delivering engaging sessions in schools to encourage students from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue higher education. As an educational facilitator at Farmer Ted's Adventure Farm, I also delivered engaging educational presentations to audiences of all ages, ensuring visitors had an enjoyable and safe experience on the farm. Finally, as school rowing captain, I assisted in coaching rowing at my school, which furthered my development of engaging teaching methods and contributed to my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

I can tutor Biology up to A-Level, focusing on difficult concepts, exam technique, and fully guided practice. Weekly homework and revision notes and flashcards tailored to the student's needs can be provided on request. My Biology sessions will break down challenging concepts for the student in whatever areas they tell me they need it most/ combined with my own personal initial assessment of the student's knowledge. I provide targeted practice, exam-style questions and structured revision strategies. Lessons adapt to the student’s pace, ensuring strong comprehension and improved performance in A-Level assessments.
