About Pete
Hi, my name is Pete and graduated from Loughborough University with a 1st Class Masters in Mechanical Engineering back in 2019. I then moved straight into full time work as a Design Engineer working for a Hydrogen Research and Development Company where I have been ever since, using first principles on a daily basis to design and build Turbines and Combustion Chambers for the next generation of Clean Tech!
When studying for my own GCSE's and A-Levels in 2010-2014, I found that whilst I could grasp and understand the basics in the classroom, it was only through 1-1 tutoring where I developed confidence and learned to master the harder aspects. This confidence later helped me to pursue a degree in Engineering, and to venture beyond into the exciting world of Research and Development where I now work.
My desire to tutor is to help others build their own confidence around Maths in the same way that my tutors helped me build mine, not only to pass exams but to further benefit throughout a career with a solid foundation and deep rooted understanding that can be relied upon.

I have a personable and adaptable approach to teaching depending on your requirements and timescales, and will tailor the focus depending on your needs. My teaching will prioritise preparing you for your exams, and focus on making sure you not only learn and understand the subject, but known and appreciate what the examiners are looking for with respect to the mark schemes.
