About Cj
I've been giving lessons for more than 5 years, and over that period I have taught hundreds of students. Many of my business english students are now in executive positions in global companies, and several of my Korean students have messaged me over the years to thank me for helping them get into prestigious Korean universities.

I left the UK in 2004 and travelled to China, where I taught ESL and studied Mandarin. I progressed from simply teaching at a small family run ESL school in Shanghai, to managing one of their branch offices.
I have more than 5 years experience, and hundreds of very happy (and successful) students, many of which I still keep in touch with. During my time teaching I built a wealth of teaching resources to accommodate nearly every level of student, including advanced and business english students. I also have experience during this time in corporate english training, and have taught at some of the biggest brands, including Carrefour, Merak, and Foxxcon.
From my time studying Mandarin, I know what it's like to be on the opposite side of the desk, and I know how hard learning another language can be. I am patient, supportive, and enthusiastic, and I believe the key to learning is to make it enjoyable (and to practice lots).
