About James
James studied for three years at BIMM London where he attained a first-class honors in Creative Musicianship guitar. Since then he has performed in function bands around the country as well as original projects that have gained radio traction from the likes of the BBC. Moving to the capital at the age of 18 has provided numerous opportunities to perform at iconic venues including the O2 forum, Camden Assembly, The Spice of Life, 93 Feet East and Cargo in addition to live performances on radio stations including BBC London.

James tailors his lessons to the requirements of each individual student and aims to provide a fun, focused learning environment. His stylistic approach ranges from classical finger-style to pop, blues, country and rock. In addition to guitar, guidance can be provided in terms of songwriting, music technology, audio capture and mixing techniques. Possessing a range of experience teaching children with developmental disorders and students varying from 7 to 65, all are welcome!
