About Samara
I specialise in helping students gain confidence and achieve strong results in GCSE Science by delivering structured, exam-focused lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My teaching approach combines active recall, rapid repetition, and detailed exam question breakdowns to ensure students develop both strong understanding and exam-ready application skills.
A key part of my tutoring also involves teaching students how to study effectively on their own, using proven revision strategies that improve retention, organisation, and performance under pressure. Lessons are fully tailored to individual needs, whether the goal is to build foundational understanding, improve grades, or refine exam technique.

I use a clear, step-by-step teaching style focused on real understanding, not memorisation. I break down GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) into simple explanations and use active recall, rapid repetition, and exam question practice to help students retain information effectively.
Lessons also include structured exam practice, where we go through questions step by step and break down exactly how to access full marks. I teach students how to study effectively outside lessons, including revision methods, time management, and how to revise smarter, not longer. Homework is set when appropriate to reinforce learning and build confidence.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but flexible depending on the student’s needs.
I am confident in GCSE Science content and use proven revision strategies to improve both understanding and exam performance. I aim to create a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
My lessons are for KS3 and GCSE students (ages 11–16), whether they need help building confidence, improving grades, or preparing for exams.
