About 直子
みなさん、こんにちは！
Hello! I’m Naoko, a Japanese teacher from Japan.
I have experience working in customer service, where I learned the importance of listening carefully, communicating clearly, and making people feel comfortable.
I am also studying Spanish myself, so I understand both the fun and the challenges of learning a foreign language. I know that speaking a new language can feel difficult or intimidating, especially when you are worried about making mistakes.
That is why I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where you can ask questions freely and practice Japanese without feeling pressured.
For my lessons, I prepare original slides and use the Genki textbook to provide clear and structured lessons. I carefully adapt the lesson to each student’s level, goals, and interests.
I welcome beginners, including students who are starting from hiragana and katakana, as well as intermediate learners.
I look forward to helping you enjoy learning Japanese and become more confident using it.

Hi! I’m Naoko, a Japanese teacher from Japan.
I offer friendly and relaxed Japanese lessons for beginners to intermediate learners. I teach Japanese in Japanese, so you can gradually get used to understanding and speaking Japanese naturally.
I use the Genki textbook together with my original slides to help you learn Japanese step by step. We study grammar and vocabulary, then practice using them in conversation so you can actually use what you learn.
A typical lesson may include:
• Reviewing what we learned before
• Learning new grammar and vocabulary
• Practicing with my original slides
• Using what you learned in conversation
For complete beginners, we can start with hiragana and katakana and build your Japanese step by step.
I also enjoy talking about Japanese culture, food, everyday life, anime, manga, and other topics you are interested in.
I have experience working in customer service, so I’m friendly and enjoy talking with people. I want my lessons to be a place where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and feel comfortable speaking Japanese.
My goal is to help you gradually move from **“I understand” to “I can use it” to “I can speak it.”**
My lessons are especially suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to build a solid foundation while enjoying Japanese conversation.
