About Daniel
My name is Dan Copeland and I am a tutor in the Boston area. I am a researcher at Beth Israel Hospital’s Nazarian Lab with a focus on orthopedics and medical device design. This fall, I will start my training to become a doctor at Tufts University School of Medicine. I graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2016 with a major in mechanical engineering and love teaching others, which integrates personal skills and communication with complex problem solving and decision-making. I have been tutoring since high school.

I enjoy teaching through a problem-based learning. Through step-by-step solving of problems similar to those that the student will see on test day, I determine which areas need the most work and strengthen them. I always keep my lessons fun and interactive in order to maximize student engagement.
