About Beth
Hello all! My name is Beth and I am a Medical Student at the University of Plymouth. I have had 3 years of tutoring experience in the subjects of Chemistry, Biology, Maths, English and Psychology. I am familiar with A-Level, GCSE and AP/IB curriculum. When it comes to my tutoring style I am a big believer in giving you the tools you need to answer the question, rather than me just giving you the answer. I like to include real life applications and work through questions step by step with you to build up your foundation knowledge. I also have experience in Medical School applications so if anyone is looking for any Personal Statement help, or UCAT and Interview preparation I am happy to help! I am very friendly and out-going and I ensure that you feel both comfortable and engaged during lessons.

When it comes to my tutoring style I am a big believer in giving you the tools you need to answer the question, rather than me just giving you the answer. I like to include real life applications and work through questions step by step with you to build up your foundation knowledge. I usually start my tutoring session with a check in of your school day and what you learned in class and how I can support that learning. I tailor each tutoring session uniquely to fit my students needs and learning styles.
