About Amirah
I am a medical student eager to help peers and those more junior to me learn and succeed in their scientific subjects. Science is key to all students at some point in their academic journey, as early as primary school and as late as GCSEs. For some, science is important beyond this scope. Therefore I'm hoping to help those that need an extra push to improve their grades . I have previously been a GCSE tutor and peer mentor, providing both academic and wellbeing support. I also look to help those who come from a range of different backgrounds by offering affordable prices wherever possible. If you need academic assistance and cannot afford my proposed pricing, please reach out and I may be able to offer a discount where there is proof of hardship. I achieved (concealed information) and a distinction* at GCSE. I achieved all A/A* in A Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) and AS Core Mathematics. I achieved a UCAT score in the top 10% in 2023, and I received 4/4 offers to medical school.

**I'M CURRENTLY ACCEPTING STUDENTS** Hello, Lessons can range from simple guidance in the GCSE and A Level Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) to in-depth and detailed discussions on misunderstood topics. I will ensure that lessons are planned and organised as well as engaging to make you more enthusiastic about learning and succeeding. I can help you with building on your knowledge and perfecting exam technique by guiding you through questions and also helping you find a structure to answer any exam question so that you can ace your qualifications. I can also provide assistance and guidance for the UCAT exam necessary to get into medical and dental schools in the UK. And I have an in-depth knowledge of the medical school application process and therefore can provide short-term guidance with the personal statement and interview process (please contact me with specific requirements). Details
I am happy to discuss prices for UCAT and medicine interview preparation. I offer the first 30mins of the first hour session for free, making that one hour session only £10! I can provide 1 or 2 hour sessions, with 2-6 hours of tutoring per week. Please contact me if you would like to request more weekly tutoring hours.
