About Sofie
I am a second-year student at the University of Toronto in Mississauga, studying CCIT. As a native Mandarin speaker, I can communicate well in English for our classes. I am open to all kinds of students, especially those who are just starting to learn Chinese. I am patient, easy-going and enjoy talking with people. I make classes fun and relaxed. We can have our lessons on Zoom or Tencent Meeting, whichever works better for you.

In my online Chinese classes, we learn Chinese as one whole language. We do not separate speaking, grammar or other skills. I will go at a speed that feels comfortable for you. We use real‑life Chinese content in class, so you can improve your overall Chinese little by little. I am very patient with beginners.
