About Rebecca
I'm Becca and I love being a teacher. Learning isn't always easy but I love tackling problems together with my pupils - we're a team!
I have been teaching for seven years. I was the head of Key Stage 1 so I've been responsible for the well-being and learning of hundreds of children. I really care about pupils feeling good about learning and wanting to learn. I think it's really important. If we feel good about ourselves as learners, we find it much easier to learn. So I focus on building up confidence as well as academic understanding.

I am a friendly, approachable teacher. I believe learning can be fun when approached in the right way. For me, fostering confidence and self-belief is as important as learning to do something 'right'.
In my lessons we will always start from where the pupil is in their learning, and design learning around that.
Lessons are typically 50 minutes but I am always open to discussing a pupils' needs and adjusting accordingly.
I have a PGCE and Masters in Teaching from the Institute of Education (IOE) at UCL. I have taught for 7 years in an Outstanding Primary school in central London. I have taught 1:1, groups and whole classes online and in person.
I am available to teach primary school children and also older children or adults with SEND or who want to learn foundational skills/subjects.
