About Eli
I have been teaching on and off for over 6 years with numbers at any one time in a session ranging from one pupil to a class of 20.
I have experience teaching young people ages 4-18 years of age and also of giving conversational or professional Spanish classes to adults.
Many of the pupils I have taught have gone on to continue their studies at a higher level, received a promotion or continued their passion for another language independently having been given a strong foundation from which to work from.

I am a 24 year recent masters graduate who has studied Spanish and Politics both in the UK and in Spain. I have a high level of Spanish, which I use in a professional capacity as a manager in an international human rights organisation.
I boast a long list of tutoring roles alongside more formal teaching positions in the capacity of English teacher to Spanish natives and tutoring in Spanish to English natives. My classes are pupil focused and I prefer an introductory phone call or meeting to establish clear aims, ability and interests so i can make the classes as personal and relevant as possible.
For some pupils, I have worked to teach Spanish in relation to current events and have adopted a multifaceted approach to language learning; utilising web articles, videos, music, news etc. This approach I find really important in terms of exposure to different mediums of Spanish and breaking up the sometimes monotonous work on Spanish grammar.
I am extremely friendly and approachable and very passionate about teaching languages...having another language under your belt really broadens your horizon.
