A friendly session targeting conversation skills, reading, writing and proofreading. Very experienced.

Charlie has taught me for the last 5 years.
Charlie has a lot of patience for her students and is very hands-on when explaining each task and how it should be done.
Charlie has lots of knowledge in the gardens and is happy to show you over and over again until it sticks. Charlie is very understanding, helps with posture and bending so this doesn't affect your health.
Charlie is a fantastic role model, cares about the person she is teaching, and always goes the extra mile to help make you feel comfortable.

I’ve known Charlie for several years, and as English isn’t my first language, she has naturally helped me with my English many times over the years.

What I really appreciate about Charlie is that she doesn’t just correct you — she helps you find a more natural way to say what you actually mean. She’s very easy to talk to, patient and encouraging, so you never feel embarrassed if you get something wrong or can’t find the right words.

From my own experience, I think Charlie would be especially good for anyone who wants to become more confident speaking English and make their everyday English sound more natural. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for friendly, practical conversational English support.

Charlie is an incredible tutor, Very understanding and patient. She is a great listener and really good at supporting my conversational skills. We worked remotely together when I first moved to the UK and I now have so much confidence in myself to be able to chat to my friends at church and on the school run.
