About Aarna
I am a responsible and dedicated tutor who takes my students’ progress seriously and always shows up prepared. I have experience helping family friends with math and science, where I discovered that I’m good at explaining concepts in simple, clear ways that make sense to kids. I make sure my lessons are well-structured, start on time, and are adapted to each student’s level and learning style. I keep a positive, respectful atmosphere so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help every student build strong foundations, grow their confidence, and see that they are capable of understanding even “tricky” topics.

As a tutor, I focus on making math and science fun, clear, and memorable for kids by breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step explanations and real-life examples they can relate to. In a typical lesson, I start with a quick check of what the student already knows, then move into a short, engaging explanation, followed by practice problems, games, and visual aids to help the concepts really stick. I like to end each session with a recap where the student explains the idea back to me in their own words, so I can be sure they truly understand it. What sets me apart as a tutor is my bubbly, encouraging teaching style and my focus on building confidence, not just getting the right answer, so students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes as they learn. My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who want to strengthen their foundations in math and science, improve their grades, and actually enjoy the learning process.
