About Sienna
I have over 10 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater Voice. I offer personalized lessons tailored to students of all levels—from school kids to college students and adult professionals. My teaching covers a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, movie, and folk singing. I focus on building strong ear training, harmony skills, and improvisation, alongside solid music theory knowledge. Helping students develop vocal confidence is one of my greatest strengths. I believe every voice is unique and deserves to be nurtured with safe, healthy techniques. My lessons are interactive and supportive, designed to make learning enjoyable and effective. My singing methodology for advanced teens and quartet players focuses on developing musicality, pitch control, and emotional expression. For advanced teens, I emphasize vocal flexibility and confidence, helping them adapt their voice to different styles and genres. Quartet players work on blending, tuning, and harmonizing while maintaining their unique tone.
Both groups practice exercises that improve breath control and pitch accuracy. We use digital audio workstations (DAWs) and vocal apps to record and analyze performances, making progress clear and measurable. Metronomes help keep timing precise, especially when learning complex rhythms or harmonies.
I encourage students to explore emotional connection in every song, making performances more authentic and powerful. Adaptability is key—whether it’s pop, jazz, or classical, I guide students to adjust their technique accordingly.
Confidence builds with consistent practice and positive feedback. I design sessions that are challenging but fun, motivating students to push their limits. This approach helps singers grow technically and artistically, preparing them for any musical situation.
