About Delia
Hi! I’m Delia, a Computer Science tutor with several years of experience teaching programming and algorithmic problem solving to students of different ages and levels.
Over the years, I’ve helped students prepare for important exams and Computer Science admissions, improve their school performance, learn new programming languages, and develop much stronger problem-solving skills. I’ve also worked with students preparing for competitive programming, including students who went on to qualify for national-level Olympiad competitions.
Teaching is something I take very seriously. I create and continuously improve my own theory materials, exercises and learning resources, and I’m also developing educational software designed to make programming practice more structured and interactive.
What matters most to me is being the kind of tutor I would have wanted as a student: patient, approachable and willing to explain the same concept in five different ways if that’s what it takes for it to finally click. I want my students to feel comfortable saying “I don’t understand” — because that’s usually where the real learning begins.

My lessons are built around one idea: every student needs a different path to reach the same goal.
We start by identifying your current level, what you want to achieve, and what is currently holding you back. From there, I create a personalized learning plan and adjust it continuously as you progress.
I focus heavily on understanding and problem solving rather than memorization. During lessons, we work interactively using shared coding environments and digital whiteboards, so you are actively writing, testing and reasoning with me instead of simply watching me solve problems.
A typical lesson combines clear theory, guided problem solving and independent practice. I want you to understand not only what a solution looks like, but how to recognize the right approach when you face a new problem on your own.
I also provide structured homework and practice exercises. The goal is to challenge you without giving you work that is unnecessarily frustrating or far beyond your current level. If you cannot solve something independently, we revisit it together and make sure no important gap is left behind.
I teach C++, Python, Java, SQL, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming and general problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for complete beginners, middle and high school students, college students, students preparing for exams or Computer Science programs, and anyone who wants to become more confident and independent in programming.
Most importantly, I try to create a relaxed environment where asking questions and making mistakes is completely normal. My goal is not just to help you solve today’s exercise, but to teach you how to approach the next one without me.
