About SAGARIKA
Hello! I’m Sagarika, a passionate Math tutor with a BSc (Hons) and MSc (under Hons school framework) in Mathematics from Panjab University under the Honors School framework. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve consistently been a topper—right from school to my graduation years—which reflects not just my love for the subject, but also the clarity with which I approach it. However, I firmly believe that teaching isn’t just about marks or degrees—it's about connection. I understand that every student learns differently. That’s why I always strive to be kind, patient, and empathetic in my teaching. I break down complex ideas in a way that’s easy to grasp and make sure my students feel comfortable asking even the simplest questions. My goal is not only to improve grades but to build confidence and genuine understanding. Teaching is not just a job for me—it’s a responsibility I cherish. As a Mathematics tutor with a strong academic foundation, my teaching method is structured, interactive, and tailored to ignite genuine understanding—not just memorization. I begin each topic by putting myself in the shoes of a student, introducing the concept in a relatable and simple manner. Once the basic idea is clear, I spark curiosity by explaining where and how the concept is used in real life. After establishing this connection, we move on to solving a variety of problems—starting with the basics and gradually progressing to more advanced levels. I ensure the student is involved at every step, encouraging them to ask questions and think critically. Finally, I assign well-selected practice problems to test their understanding and retention. This helps me gauge where they stand and how I can further support them. Whether you're preparing for school exams, board exams, or college-level mathematics, my goal is to make Mathematics less intimidating and more intuitive.
