About Beckett
"Guitar has always been a big part of my life, and for the last 4 years, it’s also been a part of the lives of over 150 students I’ve had the pleasure of teaching. From high school learners picking up the guitar for the first time to college students preparing for advanced music projects, I’ve guided a wide range of students through their musical journey. What I love most about teaching is seeing the transformation. I’ve watched students go from nervous beginners to confident performers. One of the most memorable moments in my career was when a student performed an original composition at a university showcase. Watching their confidence grow from lesson one to the stage was unforgettable. My teaching approach is all about balance — structure and creativity, discipline and fun. I use real-life musical examples, relatable situations, and flexible lesson plans that adapt to each student’s pace. I also bring motivation and integrity into every session, making sure students not only learn but feel good about what they’re learning. I believe every student has a story waiting to be told through music. I’m here to help them tell it — one chord, one rhythm, one song at a time."

"Learning Guitar is not just about fingers and strings. It’s also about mindset. That’s why I focus on motivation as part of my teaching. I believe every student has a unique reason to learn — whether it’s to perform, create, or relax. My job is to help students stay excited and confident. I start by understanding what inspires each student. Then, I use those goals to guide lessons. If a student loves rock music, we start with easy rock riffs. If someone wants to write songs, I focus on chords and progressions early. Every lesson includes encouragement and small wins. I make sure students see their progress clearly. This keeps their motivation strong and helps them push through challenges. This method also works in other subjects I teach. Whether it's music theory or a creative subject, I make sure students feel good about learning. A motivated student learns faster and enjoys the process more."
