About Prabhjot
Prabhjot Singh - "From Maths Anxiety to Confidence"
The Transformation:
Many students come to lessons feeling overwhelmed by maths. School lessons move too fast, concepts don't connect, and exam pressure builds anxiety. Within 3-4 weeks of structured, patient teaching, something shifts - topics that seemed impossible start making sense.
Why students trust me:
- 7+ years teaching 1000+ students (I've worked with every learning block and every fear)
- Patient, calm explanations in English + Punjabi (whatever feels most comfortable)
- I break scary topics (calculus, probability) into simple, logical steps
- Students who entered anxious often leave feeling ready and confident
What students experience:
Students typically notice a shift in how they approach maths. Topics that felt impossible become manageable. Concepts start making sense rather than feeling like memorization. Many report reduced exam anxiety and increased willingness to attempt challenging questions. Parents observe their children becoming more open to tackling homework independently.
How lessons work:
- Judgment-free environment (no question is stupid)
- Real past papers + strategic shortcuts for your exam board
- Flexible scheduling (evenings, weekends, perfect UK timezone match)
- You see progress from week 1
I'm a Government of India officer - discipline, structure, and reliability are built in.

Every lesson is built around YOUR learning journey.
How my approach works:
- First lesson: I identify YOUR weak topics (not what you assume are weak)
- Every lesson adapts based on HOW you learn best
- Visual learner? We use diagrams and visual representations. Need deep concept explanations? We go step-by-step until it clicks.
- I track what trips you up and revisit those specific areas in future lessons
What happens in a typical lesson:
- Review: Recap last lesson + homework feedback (5 min)
- Teach: New topic explained clearly, no rushing (15-20 min)
- Practice: Work through real past paper questions together (15-20 min)
- Test: Mini exam-style questions to check understanding (10-15 min)
- Wrap-up: Homework set + next week's focus explained (5 min)
What you get:
✓ A personalized study plan (sent after lesson 1)
✓ Past papers selected to match only YOUR weak areas
✓ Homework that targets what YOU specifically need to practice
✓ Detailed feedback on every piece of work (why marks were lost, how to improve)
✓ Topics explained until they truly "click" - never moving on too fast
Parent involvement (completely optional):
- Weekly progress updates
- Early alerts if we spot a weakness before exams
- Advice on how to support at home
Scheduling:
- Flexible: Evenings, weekends, school breaks
- Timezone-friendly: Teaching from India, available whenever suits you
- Lesson length: 30-min focused check-ins to 2-hour deep dives (your choice)
Format: Google Meet or Zoom (interactive whiteboard, screen sharing)
