About Raegan
I have been tutoring for six years in university admissions (US and UK), public speaking, essay writing, academic writing, creative writing and English literature and language.
I hold an MFA from The New School, NY and a BA with first class honors from De Montfort University, UK.

I have ten years' experience as a teaching artist, and five as a private tutor; my students attend Brown, NYU, Columbia, UCLA and USC, to name a few. My coaching clients include TED Talkers, NYTimes journalists, CEOs and celebrity memoirists. I work with students as young as 10 through postgrads and professionals, and I'm also experienced in working with students with LBLD and Dyslexia.
I came to the US in 2015 on a Fulbright scholarship to study poetry for public engagement. I now read on the US-UK Fulbright Summer Institute Panels and UK-US Annual Awards Panels, and serve on the Alumni Advisory Council.
In 2016, I was awarded the P.E.O International Peace Scholarship for work to create more educational opportunities for young women and in 2017, my teaching work was featured by Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation.
As a 2017 scholar at The Nantucket Project, I performed at events around the US with Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Garner, Shantell Martin, Casey Neistat, Kevin Eubanks and more.
As a performer, I've opened for Shane Koyczan, sang the National Anthem to 10,000 people and serenaded Rockefellers in the Rainbow Room. I love to perform and believe that art changes the world.

My goal is to help people say what they want to say in the most effective way. This helps my clients produce outstanding college and scholarship applications, compelling presentations, waterproof academic papers and dissertations, powerful fiction and non-fiction, and more. I love to coach creative writing too; both of my degrees are in creative writing.
