About Kelly
I am a full-time in-house corporate attorney at a multinational financial services company in Charlotte, NC. I started my career in Miami, FL as a judicial clerk and later civil litigator before moving in-house. I went to the University of Miami for law school and graduated in 2017. After graduation, I passed the Florida bar exam on my first attempt. After deciding to relocate, I passed the North Carolina bar exam on my first attempt while studying at night and working full time during the day. Prior to law school, I received my bachelors in strategic communications from The Ohio State University in 2013.

Why a private tutor? Because we’re all different and what works for one person may not work for you. I took the commercial courses but also used methods suggested by private tutors - this not only allowed me to achieve a competitive LSAT score that resulted in an academic scholarship but also allowed me to pass the bar exam in two different states on the first try. There are so many types of learning styles but many commercial programs don't have lesson plans designed for each type which puts many at a disadvantage - which is why I'm here! Let's talk about how you learn best and how I can mold the lesson plan to best serve you (not the other way around)!
