About Kayla
Hi! I have a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in special education - I’m licensed in PreK-12 music and K-12 low incidence and high incidence special education. I work mostly with students K-3 in my current posting, but am open to tutoring other ages and grades.
I believe every student can succeed in something and it’s my job to find out what and provide the how. I love to laugh and make my lessons fun! At the same time, I have appropriately ambitious expectations. Expect to work, giggle, and make progress toward your goals and self-confidence.

Virtually, I can teach any elementary level academic content, as well as social skills, life skills like personal safety, music/piano, and functional reading (identifying signs and symbols in your environment) or functional math (money, time, etc.)
