About Seema
I was born in New Zealand (Tauranga) and have a very close knit family! I have an older sister and a younger brother. Growing up I was never a fan of school and would try and come up with any excuse to get out of the classroom. Looking back now, I know that my attention span was very short and I would get bored very easily. Being a teacher now, I try my best to mix up all the lessons I teach to avoid my students getting bored just like I used to!
In my spare time I love playing netball, watching Tik Toks and reading!

My lessons are normally structured into 4 parts.
The first part is the teaching section, this is the part where I explain to you some ideas and we break down those hard to understand concepts. Usually I will have a powerpoint slide or some notes we will go through together.
The second part is going through some real life examples, in Science you are always asked to related concepts back to real life examples.
The third section is putting the ideas we have covered into action! We go through worksheets, questions and past exam questions and we begin to answer questions together.
The last section is a little recap, either we talk through what we learnt, you teach me what you learnt or we summarize the lesson with some bullet points.
