About Alison
I enjoy helping others to learn a subject that I am passionate about. I feel that there need to be more thorough tutors to pass on their experiences and expertise to others. I want to see others thrive in an industry that is so vast. My work has taken me on many paths. Working in the health sector amongst medical professionals, especially in critical care, also working alongside many people in health and social care settings. Doing this has helped to gain my own vast knowledge of anatomy and physiology, picking up various skills and resources to allow myself to also learn. This set me up to be able to study towards a teaching qualification. The body is my passion and I enjoy teaching this to others.

I am very thorough with content needed for the student to grasp understanding of the subject and I make sure to understand the students' learning needs and what makes them find learning easy and manageable. I structure my lessons so to get results needed to get the grades desired. I can give assistance for exam preparation and projects. I listen but also allow the student to learn at their pace. Using great resources in my sessions, gets these desired results, with them being interactive, question-based, using diagrams and charts, having discussions that get the mind thinking thus gaining confidence to explore more in-depth.
