About Eilidh
I am a fully qualified History teacher who has experience teaching all stages, including National 5 and Higher. I graduated with a first in History and Journalism from the University of Strathclyde, and have a strong knowledge and understanding of a variety of historical topics. I have always loved history and love getting to share my knowledge with others. I got into teaching to do just that, and because I really enjoy seeing pupils reach their full potential!

I would like to provide tutoring for people studying at high school, doing exams, or looking to do some extra work before starting their university studies. I use a pupil-centred approach, meaning I will always put the needs of each individual pupil first and will tailor each lesson to suit their learning styles. A typical lesson will usually feature a PowerPoint presentation created by me where we will go over the relevant content, followed by some activities and questions to help you practise and retain the information we have gone over. I always aim to make my lessons fun and interesting, and like to use different methods to teach such as videos, games, and quizzes. If you are working towards your National 5 or Higher qualification, I will also incorporate exam-style questions to help you practise before the final exam arrives.

Eilidh really helped me with my revision for my Nat 5 history exam and I ended up with a B. Great lessons and really nice person.
Eilidh really was a big help towards the time of my Higher history exam, without her help I doubt I would have even passed never mind gotten an A!! Would definitely recommend as she is very patient as well as helpful and clued up on the subject.
