About Fraser
I have an incredibly wide range of experience of both tutoring and teaching experience over the last 19 years as a fully qualified teacher; from teaching in comprehensive schools in London to assisting Year 6 students in Hong Kong with their SATs, ISEB and Secondary entrance exams, through to tutoring pre school age students with their English in Venezuela to assisting teenage students with their IGCSE Maths exams in Mexico. I have been able to regularly adapt my teaching style and content of lessons to suit my audience and material required.

During my tutoring sessions I enjoy providing clear explanations, and structuring my lessons to ensure students have a good understanding of material.
I create a supportive environment, encouraging student-led discussions, and guiding students to discover knowledge through hands-on activities and individual or group work.
During tutoring and teaching sessions I focus on individualised support, offering personalised feedback, and helping students set goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
I endeavour to inspire and motivate students, making learning fun, and helping them see the relevance and application of the material.
I encourage critical thinking, asking thought-provoking questions, pushing students to explore new ideas and perspectives.
I continually emphasise the importance of reflection, helping students analyse their own learning, and develop their own learning style.
Throughout my lessons I incorporate technology into my teaching, using digital tools to enhance the learning experience, and promote collaboration and engagement.
I am flexible and responsive to the needs of my students, adapting my teaching style to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
