About Arooj
I have 4 years of tutoring experience, teaching KS3 and GCSE science to students aged 7-16.
I have a degree in BSc Biochemistry from Queen Mary University (obtained 2:1) degree completed in 2013. I also have a teaching qualification which is a PGCE in secondary chemistry, completed July 2014.
Very good communication skills with the ability to communicate with pupils of all ages. Friendly and approachable. Will adapt the pace of the lessons according to the needs of the student.

Fully qualified science teaching and GCSE Examiner for the OCR specification (2 years) , teaching at an outstanding school in redbridge called Beal Academy Trust. I 5 years teaching experience in KS3 and GCSE science (Biology, chemistry and physics). Lessons are normally structured with the use of textbooks and worksheets. Every student will be given a copy of the specification which will have a breakdown of all the topics required to cover and this will be a working document used every lesson. Students will be taught and asked to write down important key notes, with an opportunity to ask any questions on anything they are unsure on in the topic. Every lesson will end with exam questions, whereby we will focus on the type of question being asked in the exam and how to answer it. As I am an examiner, this will be highly useful for pupils to learn any techniques especially when answering 6 mark questions in the exam.
