About Shakira
Who My Lessons Are For Ages: 6 to 11 years old (Year 1 to Year 6) Level: Beginners to intermediate Ideal for children who are new to coding, need extra support, or want to extend their computing skills beyond school. Qualifications & Experience I am a qualified Computing teacher with extensive experience in teaching primary school students. I have successfully taught topics such as: Block-based programming (Scratch, Code.org) Game and animation design Robotics (e.g., Sphero, Lego) AI basics for children I’ve taught in both school and online environments, and I’m passionate about making technology education engaging and accessible for all learners.

Teaching Techniques & Methodology
My tutoring style is interactive, student-centered, and hands-on. I use visual-based programming tools like Scratch, Code.org, and Blockly to introduce core programming concepts in a fun and easy-to-understand way. I design each session to include:
