About June
I'm June, an artist trained in classical style who also runs a free art group at my local church. I just wanted to share the God-given joy of making art with everyone and help people complete their first ever painting.

Born in a family of generatios of artists, I have grown up making visual art in various forms. After I quit my job to have my children, I did a course in Drawing and Painting from London Art College, and have been successfully exhibiting in galleries and museums in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. I mainly work in oils, as well as acrylics, gouache and watercolour.
In May 2024, to share the joy of making art with my community, I started a Saturday art group for both adults and children. It has been a great success and the group has been growing steadily. Some members who had never done art before now join me every week and complete a small painting every time. I started doing private tutoring too. I developed a system to break down shapes to make it easy to draw, and make drawing less daunting and more enjoyable.
Painting is my passion and I can't wait to share it with others.

I would highly recommend her.I have always wanted to paint but I've never been very good at it. I'm so glad I went to one of June's watercolour workshops, where I was guided through the process step by step. June is very patient and explained well so I knew what to do. I was very happy to complete a lovely landscape at the end! A first in my life! I'll definitely book another session soon. I can't recommend her enough!
I met the lovely June today and did her watercolor workshop… I really enjoyed the session. I was able to really relax and enjoy what I was making, not thinking of anything but the task at hand and chatting with the lovely June. I know there are sessions on a Saturday morning at the Church opposite the Bedgrove Catholic Church at 10.30…. You should all try and give it a go! I’m definitely going to go back. Here’s my master piece lol I’m not Picasso, but it was fun too
