About Faya
Hi,
This is Faya. I'm a Canadian citizen with over 15 years experience in ESL and business English teaching. I also have some experience in banking and finance. At the moment, I am a mortgage broker and I teach English on the side.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in nature going hiking, skiing, walking or hanging with friends. I also enjoy watching movies in my down time. The last movies I watched and ready enjoyed is Detachment, starring Adrian Brody.
Teaching is very rewarding to me. Indeed, I love it! I enjoy connecting with my students and assisting them to go from A to Z.

We will start our class with a topic pre-planned. But the way it goes is based on your needs in grammar and vocabulary.
It can happen to change the pre-cut plan and teach something that you need more and is more fundamental for your knowledge.
Better say I am always there with a plan but I play it by ear to make the best out of it.
- I care for connecting with you. You would leave the class feeling you were understood and your needs have been taken care of.
-You would talk mostly and I instruct and lead the path.
-My classes are for pre-intermediate, intermediate and Upper intermediate level.
_ I am also CELPIP certified. So I can help you prep for CELPIP test.
- In case you would like to improve your English in any of the four skills, I can create specific lesson plans for you considering your level and your goal.
