About Rebecca
I am a Theatre Director, Performer and Arts Educator. I trained in Drama at The University of Hull and Acting, Devising and Physical Theatre at L'Ecole Internationale de Jacques Lecoq, Paris. I have a background in movement, new writing and participation and have taught all ages from Primary to Degree Level. I am founder and Artistic Director of Fit to Burst Theatre Company.
I have delivered workshops and creative learning projects for companies across London including The Almeida Theatre, Shakespeare Schools Foundation, The V and A and Creative Partnerships. I was Education Officer at The Blue Elephant Theatre 2007-2009 and Learning and Outreach Officer at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts 2011-2013. I have taught undergraduate students at Bedford University, London Metropolitan University, Drama Studio London (University of Westminster) and have just written and directed a BA third year production for East15 Acting School, University of Essex.

I am able to offer classes in movement, acting, storytelling, object manipulation, theatre-making and script work for professionals, students and enthusiasts of all ages. I can create bespoke curriculum linked drama sessions for Primary School children. I am also a trained TEFL teacher.
My approach is playful, fun, intuitive and tailored to the individual and their interests and needs. I enjoy working with all kinds of different people and am able to co-create great performances with professionals and non professionals and all ages and abilities.
