About Usmaan
I am student in Luton Sixth Form College studying Further Mathematics and I wish to teach this knowledge through engaging and interactive lessons. I believe anyone is able to achieve the grades they desire through the combined effort of the student and teacher. I have experience teaching other students at school; helping them with any areas of maths they are confused about. My goal is to establish pupils with numerical fluency, critical thinking skills and master problem solving.

I am able to give maths lessons ranging from primary school level all the way to A-level mathematics. Each lesson will be around one hour long and will cover one to two topics in detail. At the beginning of the lesson, there will be a starter question for the student to complete to solidify their knowledge of the previous lesson. Afterwards, I will explain the new content using examples and answering any questions along the way. Finally, students will have the opportunity to test their new knowledge by answering a question sheet. I aim to make lessons as interactive as possible, where students will attempt to form and solve problems creatively to create a deeper understanding in the subject rather than students simply obeying memorised methods.
