About Shaan
I am a former A-Level Computer Science student who is currently on gap year. Next year I plan to take Creative Computing at the University of the Arts London which focuses on the more practical and innovative side of Computer Science.
I am fairly new to tutoring, however, I believe I am someone who is very patient and resilient as I was someone who struggled with Computing for a very long time. I was receiving low grades but worked hard to earn an 8(A*) in my GCSE exam.
I believe with the techniques I learnt I will be able to help students in the same position as I was, and understand the struggles they are facing in certain topics.
Although Computer Science is one of the harder subjects, I believe it can be a very rewarding and useful subject to have and hope to make it more enjoyable for you to learn!

I mainly aim to help GCSE students, but I would happily be able to give lessons on A-Level topics.
I would first like to get to know you as a student and the methods you learn best, so I can tailor my lessons to be efficient and beneficial for you. I would also like to find out the particular parts of the course you find the hardest so we can help you gain confidence in those areas.
After, getting to know you better and understanding how you learn, we will start breaking down certain topics into smaller sections to simplify the content. Depending on how you feel, we can keep going over certain areas or move on straight away. Once you feel confident in an area, we will move on to exam questions to see id they can execute the knowledge.
During that part of the session, we will also be looking at exam techniques and the easiest ways to pick up marks.
