About Nandini
Hi! I'm Nandini, a final-year veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh, and I'm genuinely excited about teaching biology and chemistry. I'm approachable, patient, and love seeing that lightbulb moment when a concept finally clicks. I've spent time volunteering at animal rescue centres in Bahrain and working across clinics in the UK, so I can bring real stories into lessons — especially if you're curious about animals or a future in vet med. When I'm not studying, I'm salsa dancing, reading, or writing poetry in English and Hindi. I'd love to help you find science just as fascinating as I do.

Every lesson is tailored to you. We can mix it up however works best — a longer session to dive deep into a topic one day, followed by shorter check-ins on other days to reinforce it; or several short sessions spread through the week. There's no one-size-fits-all, so we'll figure out the rhythm that suits how you learn.
Each session focuses on one concept at a time, broken down using presentations, whiteboard-style explanations, or informal discussion — whichever clicks for you. If there's something you're stuck on, we can chat about it ahead of the lesson so I know exactly where to start.
Timing is flexible too. Early morning before school, late evening, or Sunday afternoons — I can work around your schedule.
And if you're interested in animals or thinking about a career in veterinary medicine, I love weaving in real-life anecdotes from my clinical placements — showing how biology and chemistry aren't just exam topics, but tools that literally save lives. I have experience explaining diseases to clients, and have informally helped people excel at debate and writing competitions.
