About Shihab
I am taking a gap year before reading Medicine at Cambridge University. studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at Westminster School and obtained 3A* (or equivalent).
I have been tutoring the sciences for the past 2 years and have recently worked as a teaching assistant at a secondary school. I have also given BMAT and UCAT tutoring lessons which I obtained scores for within the top 10%.

I teach with the student's needs in mind. With my knowledge and experience from being in both state and private schools, and as a teacher now, I know that it is best to tailor the subject to the way that each student learns best.
I like to make the most of technology and applications to study and learn content. I love to draw diagrams and explain my working, and aim to build good learning habits with my students. I use evidence based methods to study, such as active recall and low stakes testing.
