As a dedicated and results-driven tutor, I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals with confidence. With a year of tutoring experience, coupled with strong academic achievements—A grades in A-level Maths and Chemistry, and 9s in both subjects at GCSE—I possess both the knowledge and the skills to teach effectively.
Having relocated from another country with only six months to prepare for my GCSEs, I had to independently study and master the content, ultimately achieving excellent results. I understand firsthand the difficulties students face, especially when navigating new or challenging material, and this perspective helps me empathise with my students and guide them through similar struggles.
My approach centres on creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenges. I tailor my teaching methods to suit each individual, making complex topics more manageable and even enjoyable.

My tutoring approach focuses on personalised learning tailored to each student's strengths and weaknesses. I emphasise concept mastery by breaking complex topics into simpler components, using real-world examples to help students relate theory to practical applications. Active learning is key—I encourage students to ask questions, engage in problem-solving exercises, and explain concepts back to me, reinforcing their understanding. I also provide regular feedback and use assessments to track progress.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 to 60 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time to cover topics in depth, practice questions, and review previous material without overwhelming the student.
I have one year of online tutoring experience, primarily teaching mathematics and chemistry at GCSE and A-level. I achieved top grades in both subjects, with A grades at A-level and 9s at GCSE, providing me with a solid foundation to support students in their academic journey.
