About Angelique
Hi, I’m Angelique! I’m a medical student at the University of Southampton and have been tutoring for eight years. I’ve helped lots of GCSE and A-Level students with Biology and Chemistry across exam boards like AQA, Edexcel, OCR, and CAIE. I’ve also taught Psychology and include detailed essay notes as part of the sessions. Lately, I’ve started supporting students with medical applications and personal statements too, which I really enjoy. Tutoring is something I really love and hope to keep doing throughout and after my studies. It’s so rewarding to see students grow in confidence and hit their goals. Many have recommended me to family and friends and stayed in touch over the years! I offer a free first session so we can see if we’re a good fit—because it’s important to find the right match!

My lessons are hands-on and flexible. We focus on specific topics, working through the material together before finishing with some practice questions. I make notes alongside you and use creative examples to help make tricky concepts easier to understand. After each session, I send personalised notes to the student and a summary for parents, so everyone’s clear on what we covered. I usually suggest some extra practice questions, but no pressure—if you’re busy, that’s totally fine! I’m relaxed and easygoing, happy to adapt plans or jump straight into whatever you need on the day. Having earned three A*s myself, I’m confident I can help you reach your goals. Whether you like to plan ahead or prefer to go with the flow, I’m happy to work with what suits you best. I offer one-hour sessions and as many per week as you need. All notes from the session are sent shortly afterwards, and I’m happy to provide session reports for parents if requested. I tutor both in-person and online, depending on where you are. Based at the University of Southampton, I’m happy to do a mix of both to fit your schedule.
